One question. Room to understand it.

Follow the logic.

Tuition built around you

Understand it. Write it. Explain it.

Whether it’s a theory question or a program that won’t behave, we can work through it together at your pace.

01

Make sense of the theory

Connect topics such as computer systems, networks, data representation and security to concrete examples.

02

Think through the code

Work on variables, selection, iteration and algorithms. Trace programs, spot mistakes and practise writing solutions.

03

Explain it in the exam

Practise exam-board questions, use precise terminology and learn to explain how your solution works.

Meet your tutor

A familiar face.
Support beyond the lesson.

I’m Annup, the founder of Luminary Tutoring. I teach Maths and Computing at KS3, GCSE and A-level.

I have 20 years of tutoring experience, teaching students both in person and online. For GCSE Maths and Computer Science, you’ll work one-to-one with me. We can focus on the topics you find difficult, practise explaining your reasoning and work towards your goals at your pace.

I’m also an award-winning software engineer, bringing a practical perspective to programming and problem-solving.

Between our lessons, I set homework and reply to student questions through Microsoft Teams.

Luminary is a team of tutors. English tuition is provided by another tutor on our team.

From our students and families

In their own words.

GCSE Computer Science

“I couldn't help my daughter with her GCSE homework at all—it's like another language! Bringing in a professional tutor was the best decision we made. They kept her organised, set brilliant homework tasks, and gave her the confidence to smash her AQA exams. Absolutely recommend.”
Chris B.Parent

GCSE Computer Science

“We came to tutoring really late—just three months before the Edexcel exams. My daughter had completely lost her confidence with the pseudocode questions. The structured, calm approach of the weekly sessions completely saved her. She managed a high Grade 7!”
Priya R.Parent

Which GCSE exam boards do you cover?

Annup supports all GCSE exam boards for Maths and Computer Science. Let us know your board if you know it, so lessons and question practice can follow your course.

Can you help with programming as well as the theory?

Yes. GCSE Computer Science tuition can cover programming, algorithms and the theory in your course. Tell Annup which language you use at school and where you need support.

How do online lessons work?

Can we choose Maths and Computer Science together?

Yes. You can choose either subject or both with Annup. Each chosen subject requires at least one one-hour session per week. One subject is £60 per week minimum; both are £120 per week minimum.

What happens after we send an enquiry?

We’ll contact you using the details you provide to discuss your needs and arrange a free consultation. We’ll agree availability, lesson times and arrangements before you book. Sending the form does not book or pay for a lesson.
