Support beyond the lesson.

I’m Annup, the founder of Luminary Tutoring. I teach Maths and Computing at KS3, GCSE and A-level.

I have 20 years of tutoring experience, teaching students both in person and online. For GCSE Maths and Computer Science, you’ll work one-to-one with me. We can focus on the topics you find difficult, practise explaining your reasoning and work towards your goals at your pace.

I’m also an award-winning software engineer, bringing a practical perspective to programming and problem-solving.

Between our lessons, I set homework and reply to student questions through Microsoft Teams.

Luminary is a team of tutors. English tuition is provided by another tutor on our team.

GCSE Maths

“Midway through Year 10, I wanted to move up to the Higher tier but the school said I was too far behind. My tutor helped me cover the crossover topics and the harder algebra in our own time. When I resat my mock, the school moved me up. Ended up getting a 8.”

GCSE Maths

“I was stuck at a Grade 7 and needed a 9 for A-Level. My tutor showed me exactly how to unlock the hardest questions on the AQA papers. I got my Grade 9!”

Before you enquire

A few useful
answers.

Which GCSE exam boards do you cover?

Annup supports all GCSE exam boards for Maths and Computer Science. Let us know your board if you know it, so lessons and question practice can follow your course.

Can you help with Foundation and Higher GCSE Maths?

Yes. Tell Annup your tier, the topics you find difficult and your goals. Lessons can focus on building understanding or tackling more demanding questions.

How do online lessons work?

You work live, one-to-one with your tutor via Microsoft Teams. You’ll need an internet connection and a device that can join a Teams call. Each live lesson is recorded and shared afterwards with the student for revision. Parents can also review the recording to see the teaching and support provided.

Can we choose Maths and Computer Science together?

Yes. You can choose either subject or both with Annup. Each chosen subject requires at least one one-hour session per week. One subject is £60 per week minimum; both are £120 per week minimum.

What happens after we send an enquiry?

We’ll contact you using the details you provide to discuss your needs and arrange a free consultation. We’ll agree availability, lesson times and arrangements before you book. Sending the form does not book or pay for a lesson.

Do you also offer KS3, A-level and English tuition?

Yes. Luminary’s team offers Maths, Computing and English at KS3, GCSE and A-level. Annup teaches Maths and Computing, and another tutor teaches English. Ask us about the relevant tutor’s availability and pricing.
